R&D Specialist Cemre Avşar participated as an invited speaker at the 4th Advanced Chemistry Congress held in Barcelona, Spain this year.
The publications prepared by Toros Tarım R&D Center within the scope of the Green Deal and Compliance with Circular Economy Targets concepts continue to draw attention in the academic community.
With the contributions of Didem Tümük, Ahmet Ozan Gezerman, and Cemre Avşar from the R&D Center, and Abdullah Emre Yüzbaşıoğlu from the Strategy and Business Development Department, a review article titled “Focusing on the Merseburg Process Process: Benefits on Industrial Decarbonisation and Waste Minimization” focused on the reduction of CO2 emissions and the evaluation of industrial wastes as a secondary raw material source was earlier published in the Environmental Technology Reviews journal. The article, which won the SHEN Best Researcher Award to Toros Tarım R&D Center, also earned the center the privilege of participating as an invited speaker at the Advanced Chemistry Congress held in Barcelona, Spain between March 27-28, 2023.
In the congress, where Toros Tarım was the sole participator from the agriculture sector, R&D Specialist Cemre Avşar delivered a speech on mineral fertilizer and organic-organomineral fertilizer production processes and R&D studies on sustainable agricultural practices, which are Toros Tarım’s fields of activity, with the title “From Conventional to Green: Latest Trends in the Fertilizer Industry”. The speech provided the congress attendees with insights into the latest trends within the fertilizer industry.
